l thought they did reasonable. Siddle bowled well but in my opinion Ponting is not a good captain. He should of bowled Bollinger after Siddle got the first breakthrough. l think he takes of bowlers just when they get into their rhythm. Johnson played really well and is on his way to becoming an all-rounder. Altogethor, they did ok.

They went very good.

Well in contrast to recent performances they have done well. The batting line up performed well for the aussies but then again they were very lucky that clarke was dropped. However l still believe that the current bowling line up for the aussies will struggle to take 20 wickets in a match & this has so far proven to be a major problem for the aussies. however l agree that siddle bolwed well, he did what a front line bowler should do & thats clean up the tail cheaply, something that has been rare this series

Johnson & Siddle were standouts for me but l am not too sure about McDonald. He is the sort of bowler that u WANT bowling to you: gentle pace without much variation, but l am glad he got a wicket. My heart skipped a beat when Hayden got lucky with the LBW, he was gone plum pudding in my sight, & hawkeye agreed. Hauritz was . Okay. l did not see a lot from Bollinger but from what l saw he is holding it together nicely. Now we just need to post a 400 run lead & declare, with a day to bowl them. A good day tomorrow & it is looking good for the Aussie's.

they did alright but.

maccas was boring. He bowled so slow and did not look dangerous. Yeh he got a wicket by bowling it at a crack then the ball suddenly hit the pads but besides that he was so boring

Maccas(mcdonald) and Hauritz were absolutely ineffective and should not tour south africa in february

With S A chasing maybe 420 with 1 man down, the aussies will not make the same mistakes like drop steyn as often this time.

If your Australian, pretty good considering their last few performances, if your not Australian, who cares.

THEY PLAYED WELL TODAY.

They played very good but it was not very convincing. l though Bollinger was the best bowler even if he did not take any wickets (no l am not going to rant about the umpires now).

Australia will either win or more likely draw this 3rd Test to retain #1 ranking.

Australia have done extremely well in this test match, in which Michael Clarke and Siddle excelled.

VERY GOOD
There was a time when australia were 9 down.& england needed 1 wicket to win the match....but lee n warney.saved the match in ashes 2005.

And now today ..australia need 1 wicket to win the test & save there no 1 status. they chipped in & it was a complete team effort though few catches were dropped but in the end they won the match.
they must be feeling at the top of the sky..really a gr8 match.
michael clarke should hav bowled more overs . he is a guy with golden arm.
