Or will he be thinking that he needs to get a big score in the second innings so he can say that at least he did his part?
Will he be wondering who he can deflect the pressure towards at the press conference after the match?

If he was just another member of the team and not their captain scoring lots of runs (like the rest of the batsman should be doing) would be enough.
His ''l am trying to lead from the front'' cliches only put the pressure on his already fragile team. He needs to show them he is confident they can do their job and not highlight the fact that they didn't.
Maybe, by getting that duck, he is showing the ultimate confidence that his team mates can do it without him. Is that it?
JG ...... why do you think Clarke can do a better job? Is it just because he has been put forward as the next Australian captain? l think that the reason we are in this position is because Ponting was groomed for this position and no-one else was ever considered. Maybe Brad Hadden has the best credentials?
