l believe he is on the verge of state selection in both football and cricket so now he has a tough choice to chose between cricket or football. l know l would chose cricket.very talented willl be very good in years to come l beleive.

16year-old Mitchell Marsh, son of Geoff and younger brother of WA and Australian OD l batsman Shaun, torn between sports.
He has already secured a state cricket contract with WA but has also trained with WAFL club South Fremantle.

Have only heard about one WA colts match.
He was 16 l think. Scored 160 odd not out. Batting in the middle order. Hit 16 6 is in the last ten overs. Scored 120 odd runs himself off the last 10 overs. Astounded everybody - l mean they dont often mention Colts games in the news/radio.
l love footy; but i'd rather see him play tests than get picked up by the new gold coast outfit!

Yep, I've heard about him. But sadly, never saw him playing though. Seems like he is 2 in 1 a player, as he is equally well talented in footy and cricket. Hopefully he pursues his career in cricket though:)

l believe he is in the process of deciding whether he wants to be a footballer or a cricketer - one of those annoying people who seems to be talented at everything!! (lol). Time will tell which way he decides to go. Must be tempting to follow dads (and brothers) footsteps but also a bit daunting.
