l think it used to be Mark waugh and now it is Michael vaughn!!

l get the feeling that u r looking for a batsman, but there r other things in the game, such as:

Fielding: Andrew Symonds- the best l have seen since Jonty Rhodes.

Slip Catching: Rahul Dravid- makes the impossible seem easy

Wicket Keeping: Brendon McCullum- no fuss, just totally effective

Spin Bowling: Daniel Vettori- apologies to Harbhajan, but beautiful to watch, & takes wickets with scrooge like overs.

Fast Bowling: Zaheer Khan- reminds me so much of Dennis Lillee

Batsman: Sangakkara- l thought of Ponting, Hayden, Hussey, Sachin, Sehwag, Gayle etc. but when this man is on form- sheer poetry!

Being as l am on, the most stylish l have ever seen would be a toss up between Sir Isaac Vivian Alexander Richards & Dennis Keith Lillee. l can see why u said Waugh though, & u could also have mentioned his brother.

Interesting question that made me think, which l am not used to! Have a star.

Micheal Vaughan has the best cover drive and his technique is so perfect
in sheer hitting of the ball yuvraj singh is so stylish
just look at him his swagger etc
ali cook looks technically correct and will develop like micheal vaughan as will ian bell who also plays gorgoeus shots

For me, it will be VVS Laxman with all his wristwork .. so gentle and so stylish. He seldom looks uncomfortable against any kind of bowling (and then he gets out all of a sudden).

l agree few others like Martin Crowe & Micheal Vaughn r also stylish,but not Lara,he does a lot shuffling before playing the ball. Even Gilchrist strokes r very stylish & effortless,it looks as if he is using a magic bat,one action & the ball disappears
