Chanderpaul
Its really funny how people give others thumbs down just because their favourite batsmen was not voted. For those who do this, please check the official ICC rankings. Save yourself the embarrassment. Its a bit like disagreeing that 2+2=4 jus because you like the answer 3 better.

World No.1 is Shiv Chanderpaul currently. Here is the Top 10 list:
1] S. Chanderpaul 2] K.C. Sangakkara 3] Mohammad Yousuf 4] D.P.M.D. Jayawardena 5] K.P. Pietersen 6] M.E.K. Hussey 7] Younis Khan 8] G.C. Smith 9] R.T. Ponting 10] G. Gambhir
Tendulkar is at No.18
Edit: Thumbs down for telling the truth? Ok, l say Ricky Ponting is the best batsman now. The legend is back with 200 runs in this test.

Shivnarine Chanderpaul
He averages over 106 in the last 2 years of Test Match cricket, he is almost impossible to get out.
If your Indian, you could be looking for the answer Sachin Tendulkar?

the best all round batsman is tendulkar! he can play any shot & can play against spin, pace or swing on any type of pitch in any condition without difficulty! when tendulkar is in form, l will tell ya, there aint none better! even sir donald bradman said tendulkar is the best batsman he has ever seen! his technique is re-writing the batting text books, it is absolutely perfect! he can play all round the wicket, & u cant shut him down! & he is dominating! he is the best since bradman!
