A lot has been said about how Australia can not find a test spin bowler but now with hogg retired i'm also concerned about our ODl team. Look the names of our spin bowling options

Thats all l can up with. Who do you think should be picked in the Australian ODl Squasd, should we even pick a specialist spin bowler when we have the likes of Shaun Tait, Nathan Bracken, Mitchell Johnson, Brett Lee, Shane Watson and James Hopes or should we just like Andrew Symonds and Michael Clarke handle the spinners role, tell me what you think.
Good point l did forget Bryce Mcgain but again l believe he is not a top quality ODl spinner but it is another option.

l think that Cameron White would be a good asset to our OD l team. Even though he gets out cheaply, he can bat at number 7, get the quick 20-35 runs and then get 1-2 wickets in the bowling department.

The other players you have suggested can not really bat as well as White, but Beau Casson is capable with the bat.

l think a spinner is not always necisary in ODI's. because like you said players like Roy and Pup can always throw a few down.

But l think Krejza should be Australias test spinner
and maybe Cam White as the one day spinner because he is also handy with the bat.

Although in saying that no spinners are cemeted in any side at the moment and they really need to earn their spot in the team with a few big performances.

In the OD l is Symonds and Clarke can very well fulfill the role of a spinner. Our fast bowlers can do the job. But still a genuine and talented spinner will come in handy and he can be used as per the conditions.

Cam White is a good option. He is an all rounder too. But l believe Symonds can bowl better than him. l think Krejza should be given a chance. It is better to stick with one spin bowler rather than constantly chopping and changing and trying out new options.

You forgot Bryce McGain he was going to play ahead of Krejza in India but he got injured.

l wont be too worried about the ODIs. Spinners have limited role is ODIs. Their job is to contain the batsmen & pick up a wicket or two. Symmo & Pup are well capable to handle that & share 10 overs between them. Besides, most teams do with part-timer these days.

The faster bowlers are ones who can pick up the wickets in the ODIs. Even Murali is role was very limited as we have seen in ODIs. He used to maintain a good economy & that is all.

well, we have symonds and clarke to do some spin but l reckon doherty should get a run as he is known as a one-day specialist(averages 33 in list A cricket) krezja should also get a run as he did get wickets when getting smashed around which is a good asset in odis and T20

l think taking Michael Clarke is a better choice.
