Played junior club cricket with Braith Anasta (of Sydney Roosters NRL team) for Mascot RSL & South Eastern districts.

Absoulte freak,was one of those guys u hate cause no matter what they pick up they r the best at be it cricket,leauge,union,golf,tennis, he was a gun.

In U14s we thought he might have to through his wicket away to get an average at the end of the season cause his first half dozen knocks where 50 odd not outs.

Also played park cricket (b grade) for Heatcote with Colin Best (of Canberra Raiders but he was playing for thr Sharks at the time) When the Sharks got wind he was playimg the made he stop incase he hurt himself.

Personally, l have never met anyone famous! Nor unless they played for Swanview, Rossmoyne-Brentwood or Melville would l have played in the same club as anyone famous.maybe someone knows of someone famous from those clubs?

l once saw the actor mel gibson in real life though, l was on a trip to the aussie land, we went passed a outback type of country place, & he was walking along a street at some shops with two kids, it was exciting for me & my wife, we never spoke to him as we were too nervous, the leathal weapons star, & that mad max shows too. wow hey.

I've lasted 5 balls facing an old Merv Hughes while l was playing for my school 11.

l played at the same club as Sanath Jayasuiya,Lasith Malinga & a few others.Never played with them or against them.Have had a couple of net sessions though.

Played against Daren Berry once but l can not remember much but he had a not out 80 odd & they scored 290 odd in 50 overs.

Ohh Campo was coaching our 1st 15 for a couple of weeks. l got a couple of classmates that was in the playing list for the Magpies & the Tigers way back in 2001/02.

Allan Border went to High School at a school quite close to mine, North Sydney Boys' High School ( l went to Crows Nest Boys High). l assume he would have played school cricket against my school. He was there about 15 years before l started high school, of course.

but once about a year ago rameez raja,s son played cricket in my club and l hit for 4 sixes
