Ian Botham - My Story
By rights this should have been the greatest book ever as if anyone had a story to tell it is Beefy Botham. Botham ruins it by trying to pass on the blame for anything he has ever done wrong & the whole self justification thing gets boring long before the end of the book.

Graham Thorpe - The Autobiography
l was really looking forward to this one. With Thorpe is reputation as an anti-establishment figure the book looked promising. Indeed, after the first few chapters where he is amazingly frank about the break-up of his marriage u will be thinking ''wow brave stuff there, can not wait to read him being equally brave about cricket''. Sadly, he does not actually shut up about his bloody divorce for the rest of the book.

Adam Gichrist is book
So embarassing, l had to buy a porn magazine to hide it in. It is so bad, it is not worth mentioning. Gilchrist, l want the hours of my life l wasted reading this book back.

About the magazine, it was called Hustler.

l am glad u corrected him/her/it there spitting cobra.

Let me guess: Top of ur pile is going to be Adam Gilchrists book. Probably followed by the latest offering from Ricky Ponting. And l am sure u will dig up another Aussie cricketer for ur vitriolic hatred.

NOw this would be a good question, if the intention behind it was not simply to provoke Australians & humour ur own racist hatred of them.

l do not know what the worst auto-biographies/biographies are, as l avoid those sort of books, but various English players have released books over the past couple of years: Kevin Pietersen, Alistair Cook, & Andrew Strauss, to name but 3, when they have not even reached the peak of their careers, & in Cook is case, is just starting out. What is the point in that?
